At YaLLa Compass Contenders 1 out of the 16 cs2 teams that participated, 8 have qualified to the group stage where they will face 8 invited teams, stay tuned as the second stage of compass contenders starts on Monday 12th of May

Overall, despite Sabre having a 2-0 lead on the first week of games, they fell short to MONTE, RUSH B & AMKAL, meaning they just needed to win any one of these cs2 teams to qualify but unfortunately all the bo3s ended with a 2-0 loss after their initial glory.

SABRE's loss to MONTE allowed MONTE to qualify after their solid performance on week one.

SANGAL almost faced the same fate as SABRE after having a 2-0 lead; Their loss to ECLOT enabled ECLOT to Qualify to the Group Stages very early with a 3-0-win lead. From then, the loss took them all the way to the final round, final game of stage one map 3 overtime to face against RUBY where they battled it out to their fullest and in the end, SANGAL wins 19-17.
